Back in middle school, as the only coloured student in his class, YND Davy learned what it meant to be different, the hard way. Facing racism and rejection, he discovered early on that standing out isn’t a weakness! It’s a strength! Instead of letting negativity define him, he transformed it into fuel, fuel for creativity, ambition, and self-growth.

At just 14 years old, Davy released his debut song “Snitches”, marking the start of his artistic journey. Through his evolution as a musician, his style became a reflection of his growth, bold, versatile, and expressive. That passion for self-expression soon expanded beyond music, sparking his love for fashion and design.

While attending HTBLuVA, a media-focused high school, Davy honed his skills in design, photography, videography, and UX/UI, tools that helped him turn a vision into reality. From those experiences, YND “YOUNG NEW DREAM” was born.
